The Hermosa Beach Historical Society & Museum was proud to present our annual Tongva Experience Field Trip virtually for our Hermosa Beach 4th Grade Students this year. We would like to thank the Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club for sponsoring this program.

 

We were thrilled to welcome back Julia Bogany, a Tribal Council Member and the Cultural Consultant for the Tongva-Gabrielino, the native people of the South Bay. Julia shared the history, stories, and culture of the Tongva Tribe with our students to help fulfill their California History educational requirement.
