The Hermosa Beach Museum Ambassador Program empowers enthusiastic volunteers to serve as the Museum's representatives throughout the community. Ambassadors help expand awareness of the Museum's mission by attending local events, sharing Museum programs with friends and neighbors, promoting exhibitions and activities on social media, and building relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community members. They also help identify new volunteers, donors, sponsors, and partnership opportunities while providing valuable feedback about community interests and needs.

Ambassadors serve a renewable one-year term, contributing approximately 3–5 volunteer hours each month, including participation in Museum events, outreach opportunities, and annual training. In return, ambassadors receive specialized orientation, talking points and presentation materials, invitations to experiences, networking opportunities, recognition for their service, and the satisfaction of helping preserve and celebrate Hermosa Beach's unique history for future generations.
