COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

The Hermosa Beach Museum will remain closed until Los Angeles County Regulations permit the safe reopening of indoor museum facilities.

Please stay tuned for more details. The following safety guidelines will be implemented when welcoming the community back to the Hermosa Beach Museum.

We will be taking a careful approach to reopening, with the safety of our staff, guests, and community as our utmost priority.

As part of our commitment to your health and safety during your visit, the museum will be implementing a number of measures, including:

  • Limiting the number of guests to promote a physically distanced and safe environment

  • Providing physical distance markers in high traffic areas and one-way directional flow

  • Frequent and thorough cleaning of all public spaces

  • Providing hand sanitizer within the Museum

  • Temperature checks before entry to the Museum

All visitors will be required to:

  • Stay home if not feeling well

  • Have their temperature checked before entering the facility

  • Wear a fitted face covering (except children under two years old). If wearing a face-shield, it must have a drape at the bottom that secures around the neck
