COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

Welcome back to the Hermosa Beach Museum!

As part of our commitment to your health and safety during your visit, the museum will be implementing a number of safety procedures including:

Face Masks Face masks as of March 4th, 2022 are strongly recommended. Masks should be well fitted and cover the nose and mouth.

Social Distance We have placed floor stickers, signage, and one way directional flow throughout the Museum. Please follow these measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit.

Hand Sanitizer Dispensers Multiple hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed throughout the Museum for guest and personnel use.

Planning Your Visit

Hours of Operation The Hermosa Beach Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 2-4 PM. An appointment will not be necessary.

Facility Capacity The Museum will limit the capacity of the building in accordance with current LA County guidelines.

Restrooms The HBHS does not have a bathroom facility- a public bathroom facility can be made available at the Community Center next door upon request.

Seating There is seating for individuals inside the Museum that is cleaned regularly.

The safety measures and guidelines listed above are being implemented consistent with current guidance issued by federal, state, and local public health officials. Although these precautions are being taken, the HBHS cannot prevent any guest from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while visiting the Museum.

The Hermosa Beach Museum is currently open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 noon to 4 PM.
The Museum will be closed Sunday March 31st in observance of Easter Sunday.
