The Hermosa Beach Museum is currently open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 noon to 4 PM
The Museum will be CLOSED for the following dates:
Sunday December 7th - Annual Holiday Party (closed 12-2, open 2-4)
Wednesday December 10th- Private Meeting
Saturday December 13th- Red Cross Blood Drive
December 24th- January 1st - Holiday Closure
Our Museum celebrates History
The Hermosa Beach Museum was founded in 1987 to acquire, preserve, and interpret historical memorabilia and other materials pertaining to the history of the City of Hermosa Beach. Our mission is to engage, delight and educate the community through the exploration of history.
How the Fund Works
This fund was founded with a $50,000 donation by Don and Barbara Guild, life long Hermosa Beach residents and business owners known for their legacy of The Guild Drugstore.
The Guild Endowment Fund is overseen by the Museum Executive Board. The Endowment will have an initial funding target of $1,000,000. Once the Endowment reaches that target, any investment earnings that accrue during the calendar year, where the Endowment balance remains over $1,000.000, can be utilized to help fund the Museum operating expenses.

You can renew any level of membership or make a donation to the museum and/ or Guild Endowment Fund through a Qualified Charitable Distribution, or QCD from an IRA account for an income tax reduction. Click here to learn more.
