Station for the Los Angeles-Pacific Electric trolleys, known as "The
Red Cars".
The line ran down Hermosa Avenue in Hermosa and along the bluff (strand) in
Manhattan. They continued along the
the coast and throughout the Los Angeles area and Southern California.
When Hermosa Avenue was repaved in the late 1990's, the trolley tracks were
uncovered and then paved over again.
A pity!
